FNX - Friday Night Experience (FNX)
FNX Info
FNX is short for 'Friday Night Experience'. We aim to make FNX a high quality event in every aspect. It's fast-moving, exciting, full of life, worship and God's Word. Over several FNX events, we have seen hundreds of young people give their lives to Jesus or re-commit their lives.
The event attracts around 250-300 young people, from both churched and non-churched backgrounds. FNX is relevant and real..
We mix up a live band, games, live DJ, incredible visuals sound lights cool stuff and general mayhem. We also tell you what's on our hearts and bring you words and sounds to shake your world, bring hope and bring life...
NEXT FNX - St Peter's C of E School, Exeter, EX2 5AP
With guest speaker, Rahcel Gardner from the Romance Academy.
Romance Academy is a revolutionary relationships project that tackles teen pregnancy and underage sex head on.
They address the underlying causes of risky youth behaviour such as, poor self-esteem, low aspirations and lack of positive family/community life by promoting the value of stable relationships through our unique 14-week intervention project. The aim is to give young people the tools to make intelligent choices around sex and relationships.
Romance Academy was co-founded by Youth Worker, Rachel Gardner after appearing in the 2005 BBC documentary, No Sex Please We're Teenagers. Their small but magnificent team have since been working hard to ensure that the programmes success did not stop at the original twelve teenagers.
FNX will have the usual mix of live band, interaction, games and much more!

What is FNX like?
Each FNX is a proper event. It has a couple of people leading the event through - including some games, getting everyone to join in with doing fun stuff. Each event has a live band who play a number of tunes which people can join in with and get rowdy to! Young people are always involved in planning, the band and testimonies. There are interviews with some interesting people who want their lives to count, often urban elements like DJ and MC. Each time there's a speaker who talks about their experience in life, about God and asks questions about what you believe. We've always got a great lighting show, sound system and even live cameras depending on the venue. Basically it's a good laugh but it's challenging too. We want to make you entertained and to think about life and God without any pressure. There is also a detached youth work team available.
